Fruit Lady's Journal chronicles every farm we've visited this year. Opinions are formed from seeing a range of offerings, and it's just natural to start ranking those opinions. With that in mind, we've picked our 2023 🫐 season favorites in a range of categories. Rankings will evolve as we visit more farms!

Best Blueberry Picking

#1 Thank You Berry Much Farms

This easy stop off the interstate was suprisingly quiet, and the extended hours allowed us more picking time than anywhere else this season. We enjoyed each handful of 🫐 in the shade of the tall rows of bushes.

#2 Hoffman Farms Store

On likely the last 🫐 blueberry picking of the season, the berries were the largest yet. The shade inside the Aurora and Liberty bushes preserved the berries, so there were plenty left after the heat wave.

#3 Rowell Bros. Berry Farm

On the first "pick" of 🫐 blueberry season, we found many long rows of the Duke variety ready. Picking mostly from one row, we filled a bucket before the heat of the day arrived.
